I had such an amazing stay at Pousada Barra Eco Boutique! The location is so unique, set on an island where you can only get around by water taxi, which made it feel super exclusive. Although I had a bit of trouble with communication at times since the English-speaking host wasn’t around much, the staff was incredibly caring and helpful. I truly loved the peaceful atmosphere, it's a beautiful escape from the hustle of Rio, but still just a quick trip into the city for any big city activities.
